Doctors Call Health System’s Bluff on Noncompete Agreements

A multistate health system issued Minnesota physicians an ultimatum after a hospital merger: sign modified contracts or be fired. But the doctors say they are protected by the state’s noncompete ban. Now, Minnesota’s attorney general is investigating the health system for possible antitrust violations.
