Drug Sheds 28% of Weight; Universal T1D Screening? Lilly Accuses Church of Fraud

Patients with obesity dropped a mean 28% of their body weight with a 12-mg dose of the investigational triple-receptor agonist retatrutide over 80 weeks in a phase III study, Eli Lilly announced. Nearly half had weight loss of 30% or greater, levels typically only seen with bariatric surgery.

There was little to no benefit from using calcium and/or vitamin D supplements to prevent fractures and falls, a systematic review and meta-analysis of 69 randomized trials found. (The BMJ)
