A New York physical therapy (PT) clinic manager was convicted of paying cash kickbacks to ambulette drivers who recruited Medicare patients to the clinic, and for falsifying medical records to show that therapists who weren’t at the clinic treated the patients, according to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
