Red Wine and Bowel Disease; Transplant Paper Retracted; AGA Dumps on CRC Blood Test

A study in Gut found that red wine may be associated with a lower risk of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

But drinking roughly two alcoholic beverages a day was linked with a 10% to 30% higher risk of pancreatic cancer, a meta-analysis of cohort studies concluded. (International Journal of Alcohol and Drug Research)

The Journal of Hepatology retracted a 2014 paper on liver transplantation in China after concerns were raised the organs involved may have been procured unethically.
