From janitor to resident physician! In an inspiring Match Day video, @shaytaylorallen celebrated matching at Yale — where she used to work as a janitor.

In honor of Match Day, the American Academy of Pediatrics took a walk down memory lane.

Not every Match Day story happens like you expect. Ob/gyn Adriana Wong, MD, shared her experience in order to “normalize conversations like this about the match.”

“I’m not sure why men [in healthcare] ever think it’s appropriate to make fun of women’s body parts,” said Nurse Lindsey Shelton, RN, after yet another healthcare professional faced criticism for posting misogynistic content online.

After Mormon influencer Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette” was abruptly canceled amid domestic violence allegations, psychiatrist Judith Joseph, MD, MBA, shared statistics on intimate partner violence and its impact on children.

“But have you heard of a ‘cold flash?'” Ob/gyn @thevagdoc shed light on a lesser-known symptom in perimenopausal and menopausal women.

“Why are all these doctors trying to become influencers?” Ob/gyn @pagingdrfran offered a cheeky, lip gloss-assisted response, while @InternalMedDoc reminded everyone what other “nonsense” is out there.

Ophthalmologist and eldest daughter Vicki Chan, MD, gave a shoutout to all the older siblings in medicine, leading one commenter to remark, “I feel attacked … and yet also seen?”

“If you grew up dreaming about the best of both worlds … it’s time for a blood pressure check.” The American Heart Association celebrated the “Hannah Montana” 20-year anniversary with a public service announcement.

It’s a high-noon showdown at the hospital! Borrowing a fan-favorite scene from “The Office,” surgical nurse @itsaaliyahs._ tried to determine who cranked up the thermostat in the OR.
